ArcheAge Chronicles needs a mid-range PC at minimum: Windows 10, an Intel Core i5-10400 or Ryzen 5 3600, 16 GB RAM and an RTX 2060 SUPER-class GPU, plus a 100 GB SSD. Those are the official Steam requirements, which target 30 FPS at 1080p Low on minimum hardware.

Until then, the only verified numbers are the official targets above: 30 FPS at 1080p Low (minimum spec) and 60 FPS at 1080p High (recommended spec), both with upscaling in Quality mode.

Also verify: 16 GB system RAM, a 100 GB NVMe SSD and DX12 support. Thermal-limited thin laptops may need reduced settings regardless of GPU.
Before You Buy
If your machine sits between the two tiers, the practical expectation is 1080p with Low-to-Medium settings and upscaling enabled. Console players can skip the spec anxiety entirely — PS5 and Xbox versions are planned, though undated; see the release date page. And if you do buy on Steam, refund rules apply as usual: under 2 hours played and within 14 days.

Can ArcheAge Chronicles run on a hard drive (HDD)?
No. The official Steam requirements list an SSD as required at both minimum and recommended tiers, with 100 GB of space. Installing on an HDD risks failed loads and severe stutter.
Is ArcheAge Chronicles available on Mac or Linux?
